Festival of Praise - Year Verses

Welcome to our 2021 celebration of Year Verses and Life Verses

This year we challenged you to find ways to keep your special verses present with you through the year. Ideas shared -- putting the verse on computer desktop or phone lock screens; putting a note on the mirror, posting it on Facebook, and sharing with friends. Find your own way to be reminded of the verses God has for you.

Psalm 18;1-2 " I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer. My God is my rock in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold."
Bonnie Doll

Psalm 28:8

"The LORD is my strength, and my shield; my heart hath trusted in him, and I am helped; *therefore my heart danceth for joy, and in my song will I praise him."
Carl Smith

Psalm 104:33-34 "I will sing to the Lord all my life;  I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. May my meditation be pleasing to him, as I rejoice in the Lord."
I put my year verse on my Facebook page and shared it with my Bible Study group as well. You will find the photo I used attached. The verse is in print below my signature on all my emails as well. I've made this a practice for the last 5+ years. This year’s verse, from Psalm 104 carries a double meaning for me. Music has always been a significant part of my life. The thought goes beyond physical singing hymns, and includes our very lives as a song of praise to the one who made us!
