  VCAA Board of Directors --
  Positions and Responsibilities
  As a not-for-profit organization in the state of Iowa, the VCAA Board is comprised of Directors. Below is a brief summary of the responsibilities of these positions.
   
   
  President
The VCAA President represents the alumni association in all legal and business matters, in addition to overseeing all aspects of the work of the VCAA. The President is the "face" of our association, leading us in our goal of providing scholarships for future generations of students, and support services to our existing alumni.
     
  Treasurer
  The Treasurer has responsibility for receiving and disbursing funds of the association and maintaining financial records.
     
  Secretary
  The Secretary handles meeting logistics and minutes, and Board correspondence.
     
  Education
  The Education Director implements the awarding of the Vennard Gilmore Scholarships, and oversees additions to our online library of publications of former college professors and instructors.
     
  Ministries
  The Ministries Director coordinates ministry services provided online and through volunteers, including: prayer message board and calendar, devotionals for our missionaries, and the annual Year Verse celebration.
     
  Development
  The Development Director oversees the financial support programs for the Vennard Gilmore Scholarships and for the association general fund.
     
  Reunions
  The Reunions Director has primary organizational responsibility for the 2012 Reunion. In years when there is not a national reunion in planning, the Reunions Director will provide coordination assistance for local alumni meetings.
     
  Leadership
  The Leadership Director maintains the VCAA Board job descriptions and the committee task lists, and also maintains a list of alumni interested in serving on committees and the Board.
