Drawing Your Own Story Illustrations -- Stick People Faces

If you had CE of Children with Prof. Miller, you will remember the exercises in drawing stick figures, which included drawing faces with expressions.

No one was allowed to get away with saying she or he couldn't draw.
Everyone in class could draw circles and lines. And from those shapes, Prof. Miller showed us how to create expressive characters.

If you need a refresher or if you never had this opportunity, here's your chance. Get some paper and a pencil, and lets get started...

Draw a circle about as big around as a waterglass.

  Now draw another circle
about the same size,
but make this one more
of an oval.

Also draw this circle more oval in shape, but wider rather than longer.
Now you have 3 different faces, ready for expressions.
